Hello, I'm Faraji. I grew up in Dodoma, Tanzania in a village called Mvumi mission. Growing up a quiet kid, I was interested in drawing, electronics, and science. I would draw cars, aeroplanes, biological drawings and playing with electric motors and constructed simple circuits for aeroplane made cardboards and stuff like that.

I was introduced to computer later in primary education when my father bought a laptop. He sometimes would teach me and my brother how to use it and when he took computer lessons he funnels the knowledge into us.

During my studies, this was just a side thing I love and I never thought of it as something that could be a career, until 2020 when I went into college for IT.

I got my primary and secondary education at Mvumi mission primary and DCT Mvumi secondary, Dodoma, and then took Physics, Chemistry and Biology in advanced education at Thaqaafa sec, Mwanza.

Now, I am a holder of bachelor degree in Information technology from Arusha technical college. It was there that I found my passion for coding from relevant courseworks and projects, building the foundation for what I do now.

My education journey reflects a significant shift from the health sector to Information and communication technology. Initially drawn to health sector from my love of Biology as a subject, I dedicated several years to the field, seeking success and fulfillment. I studied at Muheza, Tanga & Machame, Kilimanjaro. However, the twists and turns of life led me to reassess my path.

In the persuit of personal and professional growth, I made a pivotal decision to transition into ICT, a field that resonated with my evolving interests and aspirations. This shift was not just a change of career but profound transformation.

Through dedicated learning and hands-on experiences, I embraced the challenges of this new field, leveraging my past in health to inform and enrich my approach in the world of technology.

Beyond the hustle of daily life, I find joy in various hobbies and passions. One of my greatest sources of fulfillment is in learning design skills, motion graphics, music and 3d modelling.

With my love for computers, I started in drawing and animating in Microsoft paint and powerpoint, and later learning video editing and graphics from open source softwares such as GIMP, Inkscape, Shotcut and KdenLive. I am now learing 3d modelling and animation with Blender. I post my work on instagram.

I love following science and technology topics, watching tech and music production videos from youtube, Animal documentaries and football. I am a biggest fan of Liverpool fc in English premier leagure, Barcelona in Spain and Simba sports club in Tanzania.

My goal is to one day, understand the fundamentals of development of a proper project which includes web application or mobile app. From research, UI and UX design, development, deployment and maintanance. Whether that is a personal project or in a collaborative environment.

Currently, I am interested in E-commerce projects because I think completing an E-commerce project will help me learn a lot of concepts and I will be sharing my progress here.
